(We don’t like too many “rules,” but here are a few useful things to know!)

Terra Incognito is spacious and without fixed spots. It’s a cosy open field where you’re free to choose your own spot on arrival!

You can choose a pitch with or without electricity. And of course, there’s always room for hikers and cyclists.

Dogs are welcome, provided they are kept on a leash.

Open (camp)fires are not allowed, but barbecues are welcome!

You may drive your car onto the field to load and unload. Afterwards, please park along the driveway.

Free Wi-Fi is available in our communal area.

We are a family-friendly campsite — please watch out for playing children.

The atmosphere is relaxed and green. Please be mindful of each other and of nature.

Terra Incognito is not liable for damage, theft, illness or inconvenience to your belongings, your travel companions or yourself.

Use of all facilities is at your own risk.

Facilities

The campsite has a shared area under our cosy stretch tent. Here you'll find a basic outdoor kitchen with a stove, coffee maker, kettle and fridge. Glasses, pans, cutlery and dishes are available for communal use.

You’re also welcome to make use of our “Honesty Bar” — a fridge with drinks and snacks available for a small fee. Payment is by QR code or cash. We trust you'll use it with honesty and care!

It’s a lovely spot to play a game, read a book, charge your phone or get inspired about nearby sights.

Our sanitary facilities are fresh and clean — fully renovated in 2022. There are plenty of free hot showers, toilets and sinks available.

Accommodation Options

A little tucked away from the main camping field, you’ll find a fully equipped wooden Scandinavian-style chalet. Not prefab, but sustainably built.

For those seeking real adventure, there’s our sunny vintage city bus — fully furnished with kitchen and private bathroom. Both the chalet and the bus are suitable for 2–4 people.

Prefer glamping? Choose from two bell tents or our bold two-person lodge tent. Real camping, but with comfy beds and a private veranda.

And for design lovers, there's the iconic Airstream — silver and round on the outside, stylish and fully equipped inside, including private kitchen and toilet.

The Area

From the campsite, a straight path leads you directly to the Wadden Sea. The Amstelmeer is just a 6-minute walk: a charming sandy beach with playgrounds, safe swimming water for children and a café by the lake.

It’s also ideal for windsurfing, and further along, for kite surfing. There’s something for everyone!
